(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Trucks. Everyone loves trucks. They are used to haul friends, family, and car parts – not necessarily in that order. Occasionally they are used to haul some other things, but car parts are most important. Most of the ones pictured here have retired from work and are now living the easy life. We have to mention of few of these even though we like all of them. Who doesn’t like a forward-control Econoline. Doesn’t mean I want one…they just look so cool.

The IH Travelall is in a league all its own and was for sale. We’d definitely take a binder like this one. We’d seen the Dodge motorhome before, but finally got a photo of it moving. I’ve gotten to where I try to capture cars moving at cruises and shows to capture the vehicles as I believe they are best enjoyed – being driven. You will see more of that in my photos as the effort to bring better and more interesting images continues. The last thing we’ll mention in this collection is the F350 tow rig. A rollback is definitely the way to go these days, but I can remember a time when this is all there was and there were a lot of them. Glad some folks work to preserve and restore these rides from past years of towing and recovery. Enjoy.
