(Photos by Joe Grippo) –\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Back in August Joe Grippo, our Pennsylvania representative did his civic duty and attended the Glory Days nostalgia drags at Maple Grove. The famed track in Reading, Pennsylvania has been the spot of so much great history over the years and while the skies were gray for this event (as they have been for a few at the Grove in 2016) there were still tons of hardcore hot rodders and racers there. Pennsylvania is one of the most hardcore racing states in the country and you don’t need to be some sort of a racing genius to figure that. With drag strips, dirt tracks, and ovals all over the place, there are LOTS of gearheads with hands on experience at making stuff go fast.<\/p>\n Like most nostalgia drag racing events the Glory Days weekend is about celebrating the past and that’s done both on and off the track.
