(Words and\u00a0photos by Doug Gregory) –\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>The car show.\u00a0 Any car in the show can make passes.\u00a0 Some do and some don\u2019t.\u00a0 Lots of cool cars showed up and we somehow managed to get a few photos of them during the racing.\u00a0 Lots of good stuff in here.\u00a0 Lots of cool muscle and classics.\u00a0 The SC Rambler appeared to be in original paint and was looking every bit as a true survivor.<\/p>\n The white Galaxie looking like a lightweight had the right wheels, stance, and sound.\u00a0 The D50 was actually in the spectator area, but how often do we get to take a photo of those.\u00a0 Now that I\u2019ve mentioned just a few\u2026.we ought to discuss the elephant in the show.\u00a0 This burgundy Plymouth Fury sporting late-model hemi power pressurized by twin turbos.\u00a0 This car is finished nicely and has a deceptively-quiet exhaust note.\u00a0 It\u2019s a runner and is street-driven.\u00a0 I think they are still tuning and working the bugs out, but it has AC and is such a treat for the eyes.\u00a0 It\u2019s also not another LS-swap.<\/p>\n Enjoy.<\/p>\n
