(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – We start off this last gallery with THE MAN himself filling the seat of a borrowed ride. Scotty Richardson and his staff have done an amazing job transforming the track where he also operates a bracket racign school. Did I mention I like Vegas…? This tastefully flamed unit has to be one of the most-gorgeous I’ve seen. How about a two-door Malibu wagon that looks as if it came that way. Super-clean ride. Plenty of dragsters with many being pretty much the normal fare and some, that upon closer inspection, are not cookie-cutter. One thing I’ve noticed over the year is the graphics on these. You either see them with little to none or they are covered in swooshes, stripes, tribal flames, and more. The last photo is the perspective we had for the latter portion of the event. It’s a great vantage point, but…..the dew set in and our backsides got wet. Next time I’ll remember a fender cover for protection.

If you haven’t been back to MPD in years or have never made it out there I suggest you check it out.

Thanks for following along and we hope to bring you more from here in the future.
