(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Remember when car shows were actually about looking at cars? Before the autocrosses, the concerts, the competitions, the speed stop challenges, the midways, the crummy music, and all of that. The basis of all this stuff is a wide-ranging, cool, and common interest in automobiles and the Antique Automobile Club of America still gets this. Joe Grippo was at the massive 2017 AACA fall meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania and he sent us a TON of photos that show the breadth and depth of this show. It is not often that Boss 429 Mustangs are in the same place as R32 Skylines from Japan and Mercedes buses, etc.

This is not a show about barn finds, muscle cars, Japanese cars, hemi cars, Chevrolets, Mopars, Plymouths, and the like. It is a show about ALL OF THOSE THINGS and that’s what makes this so fun to look through. You’ll never expect what you are going see from one frame to the next. If you don’t believe us, start checking out the images below. We’ll be back with more tomorrow.
