(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Last album from the 2018 Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs/Autorama/World of Wheels show. These are images from the main floor though without carpet and big displays. These are your meat&potatoes of the event and stuff we enjoy nearly as much as Survivor’s Alley. To me….an unrestored ’70 AAR ‘Cuda is more drop-dead gorgeous than a polished, painted and chromed show rod.

Somehow the event folks brought a stunt bike show inside the building using a very steep ramp and an exit going out of the building. It was hard getting images, but they got more daring the more jumps they performed. When I thought the show was over I began to walk away and one of them did a back-flip. Did I mention that as they did more and more difficult tricks the closer to the ceiling.

There were a few aborted tricks because they had flown a little too high. Nope. The simple white F250 4wd stood out to me and I gawked at it for a while. You just don’t see the plain-jane stuff much anymore. Nice. Some of the Cincinnati area’s older British cars showed up and my son fawned over most of them. He has a fascination with under-powered, temperamental cars that are difficult to source parts for. Rarely do I get to see Geese like these two owned by Ray Nash so when the opportunity comes I make the most of it. Both are real-deal cars from yesteryear and still look amazing.

This concludes our coverage of the 2018 Cincinnati Cavalcade. Not sure what we’ll attend next. Whatever it is I will take too many photos and then try to bore you with them.
