Yesterday we were driving across Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma on our way from Ozark Raceway in Rogersville, Missouri to Noble Oklahoma’s Thunder Valley. Thunder Valley has been around for a long time and is a popular track, but as the home track to the “405” it has garnered more fame in recent years as a place the Street Outlaws have been known to frequent. But before we get to today’s Thunder Valley action, we’ve got to share photos from our AWESOME time at Ozark Raceway.

This place looks amazingly cool. It is small. It is quaint. It looks like a cabin in the woods grew into a dragstrip. And it has some bumps and a short shut down, so they only race fast cars there on the 1/8 mile. Street tire cars run 1/4. That meant that the fast boys here on Rocky Mountain Race Week used their Ozark 1/8 mile and added it to their Topeka back half to make a 1/4 mile time to use for the day. It had everyone doing math, which was entertaining. Everything about the day was entertaining and fun. The weather was hot, but not horrible, the staff was as welcoming as they come, and I’d go back there in a heart beat.

Here are the full standings after racing in the Ozarks, and photos are below to check out as well. This place rocks. More from Thunder Valley is coming in the morning!
