(Photos by Rob Bennett) There was much to see at the recent Goodguys Lone Star Nationals near Fort Worth Texas, and we were able to get a bunch of great photos, which means we have lots of cool stuff to share. We have to thank BANGshifter Rob Bennett for snapping all these great cars so that all of us can enjoy them. Looking at all these photos has me wishing I had been there! What always has impressed me about the Texas Goodguys show is that there is a really impressive group of cars from all walks of life. It doesn’t matter what you are into, you’ll find it at the Lone Star Nationals. And unlike the East and West Coasts, that sometimes have very region specific hot rods and customs, the Texas shows seem to grab cars from all across the country and therefore styles of all kinds.

It also seems to pull all kinds of debuts, as you’ll find a lot of cars and trucks that have never been seen before. And the trucks here just seem to keep pushing the envelope. We love every part of this show, including the fact that Babe’s Chicken Dinner House is not far away and arguably the best fried chicken in the country. Yum.
