Elk Creek Dragway is the place and Benoit Pigeon was there blasting photos for us. This event has become a mainstay of the track’s end of season activities and it’s great. From hot rods to gassers and everything in between, this is the type of drag racing fun that gets people hooked on the sport and reminds them of why they love it.<\/p>\n

Rather than run through a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, let’s just recognize the fact that these cars are cool, these racers are cool, and drag strips that are old, simple, and a little rough around the edges are cool as well. Wheels up fun and hot rods. What’s better than that?<\/p>\n
