Hunting down quality machines at SEMA 2019 meant walking. Lots of walking. I’m fully genuine when I say that I walked over fifteen miles on Wednesday, hunting down everything in just about every corner of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Good, bad or otherwise, I wanted to see it all. And there was plenty of all three on display for anyone wearing the proper badges to check over. I wasn’t really hunting down anything specific, I just wanted to get an idea of what this year was about…taking the temperature, if you will.<\/p>\n
I found happiness in the upstairs portion of the South Hall. The lower floor has FCA\/Mopar and…well, a LOT of wheel and tire manufacturers that bring out supercars and super-pretty machines to look at. Upstairs, however, it was all about trucks. Lifted trucks. Camping rigs and RV trailers. Rooftop tents and other overlanding equipment. A Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a canoe so beautiful, it defies description. Look for yourself…I wouldn’t lie to you!<\/p>\n
