(Photos by Scott Liggett) – Sometimes people just get it right. In the case of 1320Video’s Kyle Loftis, he started a monster about a decade ago when he created the ICC or Ice Cream Cruise. Initially a small gathering of friends and gear heads that cruised from ice cream stand to ice cream stand, the event now draws more than 1,000 cars and fills the stadium parking lot of a baseball team one day and the pits of a drag strip the next! I-29 Dragway has been the spot for a few years but flooding at that strip moved the racing portion of the program to Onawa, Iowa this year.

Scott Liggett was at the event and he sent us loads and loads of photos. We’re starting with these and within the first 20 you should recognize what this event is. A gathering of cool people with cool cars from all different walks of life. Lambos to lowered C-10 trucks, it is all about the cars and raising money to help local charities.

Loads of events try to be what the Ice Cream Cruise has become. Few actually do. We love that Kyle has seen it grow and we love that he stays so involved with it despite his other business commitments. A good dude and a fun show.

Hit the images below to expand them and then scroll on to see them all –
