As I write this, there’s a blanket of snow on the ground outside the windows of the Eastern BangShift world HQ building and there’s no sign of temps much above freezing for the foreseeable future. The people in SoCal may have their share of junk to deal with but thankfully the weather ain’t on the list. That’s why events like the Quarantine Cruise have done so, so well for so, so many people.<\/p>\n

This is not about sticking it to the man, this is not about thumbing noses at public health officials, this is about getting outside, getting some fresh air, and enjoying the hell out of your car, truck, motorcycle, hot rod, whatever. Listen, people are social creatures, especially car people! That has been bottled up for the better part of a year and because of that fact, there’s all kinds of want just to get among the like-minded and have some fun.<\/p>\n

The galleries we have posted so far have been awesome and this one follows right along the same path. We could spend 5,000 words telling you about why this event is cool and why it is symbolically great for everyone across the country, but the photos do that. Hot rodders and gearheads hanging out, enjoying their stuff, and enjoying the day.<\/p>\n

We need a whole lot more of that, stat.<\/p>\n
