(Photos by David Whealon) – When it comes to the success of the Southeast Gassers Association over the last several seasons, the math is not hard to do. Keep the rules tight. Keep the cars in period. Keep the racers on track. Run the right venues. Encourage showmanship. Race like hell. Now we did say the math was easy to do but it’s so, so, so hard to actually build that equation. It requires constant attention, it requires sometimes constant fighting, and it always requires an incredible amount of heart. SEGA continues to pack every track it visits with gear banging four speed fun with cars that look like they just walked off the pages of your old 1960s drag racing magazine. Not only to older spectators love it for nostalgia, younger ones love it because of the noise, the color, and the intensity of the competition.

Mocksville, North Carolina is the home of Farmington Dragway or better known as “The Farm”. The place has seen many awesome things in its life and the Southeast Gassers lands right on the top 10 list. Thanks to David Whealon for the photos and for all the racers for building bad ass stuff!
