Here is NHRA Gallery Number Three from Sonoma! What a race track and what a great weekend of weather. Take a look at all the cars running records!<\/p>\n

(Photos by Eric Myers) It was a crazy week around here at BANGshift with all of us in different parts of the country, but thanks to our pal Eric Myers, we\u2019ve once again got cool photos from the NHRA Sonoma Nationals in California to share with you. This iconic California dragstrip and motorsports facility has a history that is as storied as any you will find and it\u2019s a truly different and special facility. With the ocean so close and sea level conditions or better the norm, this is one fast dragstrip and records have fallen here for decades. It\u2019s also located in the Napa Valley, known for spectacular views, wineries, restaurants, and drives. This is a location unlike any other the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series will see each year.<\/p>\n

It also happens to be part of the famed Western Swing, a part of the season where racers run at all west coast tracks one right after the other, with everyone hoping for a \u201csweep\u201d of the swing.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Eric Myers who was on-site checking out the action, shooting photos, and enjoying the great conditions.<\/p>\n
