In April we'll do it again except the plan is to drive it pulling the DW trailer to see if the whole mess will actually stay together.

My mind hasnt been on the hot rod thing lately. Leaving today for Disney OK. There is a huge "off road thing" called "Big Meats Run".. Been thrashing on an engine change in my CJ!!

But as soon as I return, its back to my '53!!

I guess I will be working on my tolerence for beer intake this weekend tho.. I guess that's kinda somtehing for ""Drag Week"!!

I still haven't changed the oil from last year!.... Started my to do list though. Track won't open here for another month.

Oil Changed , Been to the Dyno , need to get the floor patched so I can get the carpet in. Track opens 4/7 if the weather is nice.

I will get my block and rotating assembly back from the machine shop today. I hope that I will have the engine together by the end of April but it could be the end of May. Then I will put a few miles on it and start strip testing to see what breaks.

I've been driving the Skylark lately. Two throttle body bolts came loose, heck of a whistle sucking air around the gasket =P I'm going to be driving it to Phoenix for Easter at the extended family's house. I tried installing cruise control on it last weekend, but have interference issues with the throttle cable bracket and/or fuel rail cross over line on getting the vacuum actuator hooked to the throttle I'm likely going to be painting the car in June, might get all the chrome re-done at the same time. Engine wise, I'm right on the edge of ordering an MSIII upgrade for the car. Pending that I may try and get the car on a chassis dyno....

You have been in the 9's with a F@%*ed up rearend, and mine has been in the 10.30's, you make 700+ HP and I am lucky to make 650 on a good day.
