The rocket racing wheels on the 39 Chevy look pretty good.

Black car, black tires, black wheels=BORING. I'd do the 17" steelies in a really vibrant sort of copper or bronze with the little poverty caps. I know this is nothing like your car, but it reflects the color combo

        those are nice. the steelies.

forgetting the car came with tall tread to act as part of the bushing for the 4 ton g-turn is bad news right into the 80s g body. Impalas can't play around with purty asian alloys..

the old impala.. I'd go even stronger steelies and be ingenuitive.. paint and a cap.

Oh, you should be really concerned with handling/braking since you live in SoCal....that's VERY important when you'll average 8MPH on our streets and freeways. LOL

OMG! There have been 10,000 views on this thread about wheels for a 65 Impala, I just have one question, are we really that bored this summer?

I'm not buying wheels and tires for sitting in traffic. I'm buying them for when I go autocrossing and track days.

These are cheap & durable, they look badass on old GM big cars too.

ok, does anybody know if there is a program to load a picture of your car , and try different wheels and /or sizes ? I like my wheels , but would like to see what 17s up frt, and 18 in the back.

I'd love to see you put some color on that car instead of wheels. Even if it's base coat over not so good body work like my Vette.

$90?? sweet, that makes the set I just got for free worth $90 more than I thought (they came with a car I purchased for my wife, they used to be on it). I have 2 - 14x8 & 2 - 14x7 with lugnuts, but I'm missing 1 center cap...... craigslist here I come!

This is how nice they can look when they're cleaned up a bit. What diameter center cap do you need? I've got a whole collection of them.

Body work is coming. First up is fixing the leaky windows and holes in floor. The windshield has leaked since I bought it. But, I have to tell you, I will probably never have a super nice paint job on it.
