So we have the Edge tuner and it's installed. As elaborated in "General" - a BIG thanks to Russell for his super help in the installation.

Bummer bit of info came my way today. Contrary to info I picked up from a Diesel forum, the Edge does NOT bypass the vehicle speed limiter. It makes LOTS more power and the truck runs great but the Edge tech guys assure me that it won't go any faster.

But there IS a cure. I called Thoroughbred Diesel and they sell a little box made by BD (NOT Bully Dog) that will bypass the speed limiter. That's all it does - not a tuner. It's compatible with the Edge tuner (TD has installed them together w/o issue) so I didn't slide backwards. It's on the way. Another $100.
