Anyone ever bought a rearend or anything through Quick Performance?

    Hey guys,

Im looking at getting a ford 9'' built through Quick Performance in Aimes, Iowa..

Does anyone run any of there products?

I found a some good feedback on them and they seem to be very reasonable with quality name parts...

just got one of their combo deals (Yukon bolt-through aluminum 9" center section / billet pinion support / billet steel yoke and master install kit w/ Timken bearings) - pricing was way cheaper than my normal WD's. Good guys to deal with for sure.

Doing the assembly myself, so I cant attest to their assembly skills.

I'll keep them in mind when I start looking later in spring. Looking for a bolt in rear end, probably 9", but keep my current brake stuff.
            Escaped on a technicality.

The Daytona support for Drag Racing while popular with us all, can flex on launch kicking the pinion forwards. Just sayin

Everything there sounds great with Jeff's caveat about the Al pinion support, but. The drum brakes add quite a bit of rotating, unsprung weight (the worst kind) vs light weight rear disks. An upgrade there wouldn't be too much money and could be worth a .010 or more in ET.

It maybe just as cheap to go disc, these use a G body front caliper

                    I used these Calipers

As a kit you can get less offset

I have the same kit on my truck. It came with the stock calipers like is shown in the kit.

Jeff- is there any advantage to those calipers other than weight? Do they increase stopping power?

Thread I started on a local forum I belong to. Im very happy with my 9" rear from Quick Performance. No quality issues...
