          Handsome rears

Indeed, Quick Performance makes handsome rears, however I bought a Currie for my ’40 Coupe as they are local therefore no shipping costs…

Thanks for beating me to it. If I said that in the context of "drag week" they would probably pull my preacher's license.
Hope you get the coupe done in time Swede

Hey Preacher Man in the Green Truck – the wife and I have some extra funds in our Tithe and Charitable giving account that we want to contribute to the folks of Oklahoma. PM me; I know you will know of a church that can put this to good work…

As far as the Coupe for DW13 goes, we are beginning to think our chances are pretty slim, but we have not given up yet. Almost everything on the frame is complete except the front suspension, been trial fitting C4 and C5 Vette with coil overs presently not happy with either, now we are mocking up Lamb front struts with 2012 Mustang spindles and hubs – looks promising and would be very light. All of this takes time and I’m trying to make it right the first time, after all I’ve owned this Coupe for 56 years so what’s the rush.

Thanks guys for the complements of my '40's rear end - you just keep look'n no touch'n LOL

I have been back and forth on ideas all year but its getting down to crunch time. I've decided to just suck it up and get with the program.. I'm hoping in the long run the rearend set up from quick performance will turn out to be a good decision, and that it can be assembled and shipped here within a few weeks...

I priced out doing it myself and that came down to about $400 cheaper but then taking up a fellow drag week friends time to help shorten the current housing I figured I mise well go this route... and save us some headaches.. I hope..

I have done several different ones at the shop and my favorite is the Moser rear end. The quick ones are always missing shims for their brake kit and even the T bolts at the housing ends are usually missing. Not a big deal but sometimes that little crap is hard to get.
