I guess its time to let the cat out of the bag. Mike and I have been working on a custom built import engine to run in the camaro, snickers can ensue, but I'm serious here.
We had bryant cranks work with us to engineer a custom 12cyl crank shaft for the 2jz Toyota family of engines.
We have figured out that by taking 2- 2jz engines and bolting them together by the main studs you get an engine capable of making 3200hp on only 30psi. We're going to call it the 4jayZaru, seeing as it will have boxer engine like quality's being layed on its side.
This swap came very easily. After the crankshaft was engineered all we had to do was reverse tap the threads on one block and the stud would act as a turnbuckle, infinitely tightening the blocks together for a secure square fit.
Installation was even more a breeze, because the engine is wider than usual we were able to just clean the tops off the frame rails and weld the block directly to it, thus eliminating flex and power absorption by the motor mounts.
