If you could choose one car from each decade, what would they be?

While lazily sitting around daydreaming, I thought about what cars I thought stood out from each decade, and what it would cost to assemble my list. There's no rhyme or reason to what I chose, they are just what best represented that decade to me. What would you choose?

    1932 Ford 5 window coupe
    1941 Willys coupe
    1953 Studebaker Starlight coupe
    1963 Chevy split-window Corvette
    1971 Plymouth 340 'Cuda coupe
    1987 Buick GNX Grand National
    1997 Dodge Viper GTS coupe

with no knowledge to have lived any but the late 70s onward..

    30s - a Packard
    40s - anything flathead v8
    50s - a dive into gm, 265, 283, anything that held them
    60s - anything..most likely a continue of gm, sedan (I like b-pillars)
70s- I was just started to bang hubcaps as a little boy on my dads 60 something wagon.. I'd go with anything, except small.
80s- gm again, to the rescue... I'd do the same thing again, and find an HO 305 g body.
90s- I drew the line, I am never buying a vehicle newer than a carb again.

Too broad of an answer there, boxer. you need to figure out which Packard or which GM you would want to drive.

a good history lesson to find precise..
I did have a book as a kid, every rare automobile, even one offs no one cares to mention.
                horseless carriage, etc etc.

for the Packard, one I watched on you tube just today..full restore, even back to the tiny carb on a big straight 8.

                30s:

                1939 Packard 120 convertible

                40s:

I cannot find a 1940s ford flathead example, still open to "any" but a truck. the six was stronger in the mains for the trucks. the 8 was fun to stay light with.. a 40s roadster flathead 8 (coupe). why I cannot find one..odd.

                for the 50s:
1955 chevy 210, 265v8 powerpack (first example that showed up on you tube)

                60s:

                302dz Camaro

                70s:

                1974 chevelle sedan
to this day, the only 1974 chevelle sedan on you tube, 5 years later...(I owned one), and its in another country. Go figure.

                80s:

                1984 monte carlo SS
my own had the same wheels, same paint. 84 was different in several ways.. and the only one I found to be sure to have a 305 HO.. pistons nearly flat as pancakes. This car revived my faith in old school. Been there ever since.

                90s:

nothing, no interest at all. I tried at modern with a 97 chevy Corsica..the end of my interest. I stay revived going back in time.

still editing, will fill it in with links.

there is boxer cars, and foreign, but this is about American.
