that's going to be a 4 door sedan based off the current VF holden 4 door sedan. if it was a 2dr it would just be another camaro in a diffrent suite

only 2dr GM has on that platform besides the camaro is the CTS-V coupe that looks like when the designer reached the end of the doors gave up the will to live

also besides coupes convertibles seem to also be basicly non-existant. unless it's a corvette, camaro, or mustang. can not think of any other american car off the top of my head

The way GM hems and haws deciding to build a car, it'll be 2020 before we see those things.

If every car is designed in a committee of thousands in focus, you get every car that looks the same. Same reason they all have the same seven colors. BORE!!

Well they killed off the 'fun' division of GM, not that you could get a V8 G8 in a two door, but man what a cool car it would have been. The main reason I didnt get a new GTO back in 04 was there was no option to not get a fully loaded luxomobile more like a Bonneville than a GTO, so it had a $34k price tag no matter what.\

Why do you think I dont drive anything newer than 98? They are all jellybeans, and if they arent the price is still too high for me.

If I were going to get a new 2 dr car it would be in this order, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger. It would have to be V8 too. The chances of me ever deciding to enjoy depreciation, a car payment and high insurance premiums are slim though. They no longer make cars for me, simple, inexpensive, not loaded with tons of crap I dont want or need with a V8.

I would agree that a lot of the Hyundai's have decent lines and some make gobs of power with a V8 option..the issue I have is they steal all their styling from cars that are already on the market, Jag, Nissan, Honda, Ford...

I really like Mark8's but they didn't sell well.

Ford used to have a 2 door focus that was sort of neat looking, didn't sell.

The problem is the coupe market is a small one. There used to be 2 door versions of just about everthing - but how many 2 door lesabres or montereys, or even LTD's do you see anymore? Not many, cuz there weren't many in the first place.

If you can't follow the logic, follow the money.

Thank God for that Todd - but in the showroom, the 2 door that isn't a "pony car" is pretty much over.

Remember how loooong the doors were on the 2 door luxomobiles? The hinges must have been made of 1/2" plate.

2nd gen F body doors sag like crazy. I am good at fixing them now. They are 1/4" stampings at least. When the door is 90lbs all on its own, and it is about 5' long, its going to sag eventually. The only one I have that doesnt have sagging doors is the blue one, they were gutted before the hinges went south.

Fisher forgot they needed to make the door hinges bigger on long doors. It's a pretty common problem on lots of GM cars from the mid 60s-mid 80s.

I'm not sure I agree... this looks a little *LITTLE* bit different from the rest of the suppositories...

not wild about anything out there right now. Maybe a V6 Mustang appliance for a DD. An older Focus RWD V8 or Duratec/turbo conversion might be good for a stealth weapon.

The fun part about all the great design work you see in the Hyundai line? It comes from their design center...in California.
