I am a local maineiac... didnot go last year, and cannot again this year.

the hints of cool fall breeze already passing through, cars should love it.
I would hope a record or two gets busted.

Very cool cars, especially the 1st gen. Falcon Ranchero and Rambler Rogue American!

Some of the tow/push vehicles were nearly as cool, too!

Thanks for sharing. Maybe this year you could get some video? The photos are neat, but it would be really cool to see and HEAR these beasts - both great and small - turning wheels in anger! Living in the Great Midwest (Chicago-Metro), my wife and I don't have the time/resources to attend and would love to be there, even if only vicariously!

Hey Bird....

These photos were graciously provided by Caveman because I was at a friend's wedding last year. I'll be there with my video camera and the still jobbie to really step up the coverage this year.

I know there's a 1,000hp Hemi headed up from my next of the woods that I want to hear bellow for 1.5 miles....WIN!
