What is the first thing that comes to mind when your hear Indianapolis? If you are a gear head like me you think racing i.e. the Indy 500, Brickyard 400, US Nationals, or even the Grand Prix. Well the 2nd Annual Good Guys Indy Nationals was no exception. The Good Guys Autocross was in action all weekend with all drivers laying rubber down competing for the top spot in their class. Who doesn't want to say that they won in Indianapolis? With great weather all weekend the only brake in the action was when lunch time hit. The course on Friday was a very technical one which translated into a fair amount flying orange cones. At the end of the first day Kyle Tucker held down the top spot, but forfeited his position due to prior obligations. This moved Chris Smith, pilot of the 48 Hour Corvette, into the 3rd spot. Bret Voelkel and Todd Green were doubling up in the 48 Hour Camaro and finished up with a respectable 6th and 8th place finishes in the Pro Class on Saturday. Saturday afternoon after lunch the course was changed and the competition became even stiffer. Chris Smith ended up with a 3rd place finish while Bret Voelkel finished 6th and Todd Green finished the day in 7th. Todd's 7th place finish netted him an invitation to the Duel in the Desert this November. To date that puts Bret, Chris, and Todd all holding their invitations to the Good Guys November Final.

Thought this was something a little different and it performs as well as it looks.
