Ok, for those of you that actually like to drive your cars, the Western Scenic Tour starts in Las Vegas on October 11th, 2009. This is the same weekend that Barrett-Jackson is in town at Mandalay Bay for their auction.
This tour starts in Las Vegas and heads through Death Valley with a tour of Scotty's Castle before we head over to Bishop for the night. The next day is a nice drive heading up 395 to the town of Lee Vining where we will pass over the Tioga Pass for a tour of Yosemite National Park. The next day will take us out to Monterey and the coast of California. From there we head south down CA 1 along the ocean and some beautiful ocean scenery where we will take a night tour of Hearst Castle. The tour ends near Bakersfield at Famoso Raceway for some nostalgic NHRA drag racing.
