It's right there next to the flux capacitor and under the ambient temperature cooler.

SPidey and TC think that "ignition" means "spark plug"

but GM themselves, still have an "Ignition" circuit - which you can find in a damn Chilton's manual...

let's put it to the test. Someone find me a donor, and I'll bet that I can get a duramax truck running in less than 10 minutes WITHOUT the ignition key. I'll bet $500.

            Lots of talkers, any takers?

just cause you hang out with drug dealers and other assorted wannabes .......
I was packed with stolen cars and trucks 15 years ago and since pass key or pass lock - we don't see it anymore
you bring up a separate module , but we haven't had that in decades , not since class 2 communications staryed up
are we talking about the same system here ?

... back to the original topic of the thread:

The car has been recovered and is on its way home, thanks to the motivation from a reward being offered.

                  Good news!!! ;D

With the VIN number and 30 minutes on my computer, I can walk into any dealer or locksmith and get a key to one of these trucks.

no chad , that is against the law , in NJ and gm policy , we need the registration , or title and ID and they have to maych to cut you a key
plus the key must be learned
I talked about this concept with other techs - the way around the passlock is with ls1 edit or other software , not sure if that takes the short time needed to not be snipered
