    Super Stock & Drag Illustrated Magazine

    Some of us older folks here maybe will remember this. I always admired Project Super Comp. After someone made the comment that all pipe racks look the same from 10 feet away, I got to thinking about this old project. Anyone have any info on it and what happen to it?
    As far as I can tell from searching the net it appeared in Nov and Dec 1983, May and Dec 1984 issues. I would love to find the actual magazines or reprints of the articles.

      Wish i could find an old issue or 2 myself my car was in there at one time i do belive.there was an article on it in the jan 68 issue of hot rod also.where do u find these things?


      Would also love to get a copy of the 67 NHRA world championships in tulsa ABC wide world filmed it any ideas??

          You can find these mags at swap meets sometimes,but I'm addicted to Ebay.SuperStock usually sells for more money than Hot Rod and Car Craft (of the late 60's-early 70's)

              I alway's liked those "Mr. Dirt" Bracket-Racing articals from the 90's issues. ~OO6.

                      I don't know why but the car appears like a cross between a dragster and a Indy car. Like it couldn't make up it's mind.

                      How'd it do on the track?

                          It was a pro bracket project car .Did not here any thing after the track test.
