We did Gillette this week (gallery goes up tomorrow on the blog!) and were planning on doing Wal-Mart, but the kiddos were gassed on Friday afternoon. Hopefully this week for me!That which you manifest is before you.Comment

This was in fact taken at Walmart this past friday night. The place was pretty packed too!
As for the leaf springs, I dont want to go with a full tub and a 4 link. To be honest, I cant afford it. I will not touch the household budget or the savings account to work on the car. I have two girls, one starts college in two weeks. They are whats important as far as money goes. The house and family comes first.
I've saved my pennies and dimes, done a bit of side work and sold a small collection I had to pay for the new carbs, scoop and other tid bits needed to throw the tunnel ram on the car. I have now started to save for the next project. That will be the leaf spring move, Caltracs and a complete 9", when ever I get the cash accumulated, the car will go to Tube Chassis Designz and Jon will do the work. That could be late this winter or even next year. If Jon tells me he can do something different as far as the rear suspension is concerned, still save the back seat and not cost me a bunch more, I'll listen to him. But for now, I've seen some pretty damn fast cars (a hell of a lot faster than my junk will be) running the leafs and Caltracs....
