  • The official BANG SHIFT snow machine ( snowmobile) thread

After seeing Brians repost of the John deere in the Blog , it made me think that we need a snowmachine ( tracked, tired or on fire) thread. So post up what you play in the snow and slush with.

At the time of posting this I have four sleds.
first is a 98 ski doo mach Z, which is like a muscle car, over powered but not the best handling.
next is my 97 ski doo mxz 583 , which is a great handling , quick little trail blaster , then the 2 older Arctic Cats, a 79 340 jag, and a 86 440 jag. which are both for sale. The ski doo is the yellow ride in the background.

Im looking forward to SNOW !

    I'd still drive a 440.

I have no photos of my 600 xlt. carbed liquid.. it immediately went wimpy in the following years. Nothing held it back...could hear it a mile away with a muffler. Awesome build. I never did get history of stats in memory..
I was the smallest sled to go with the bigger crowd. it was the type of sled where you blip the throttle and ride the end of the track in a vertical..because it can. I wegihed 140 at the time..only made it more animal. 100 yard leaps (no fibs)

local a problem is staying on the roads. Now in the city... I go mental thinking I am stuck in the house. there are scenarios making pickups a total dufus here.

my snow machine is a road going 87 subaru, ten geared.

being here for 25 years (as old as my car).. it is a surprise to encounter the real road goers. I don't want lift kit, I don't want alot of things...
