this is the back of an electrical wall outlet. the chunk of plastic at top of photo is supposed to be life long to the outlet. the arrow was the short circuit waiting to happen. I thought there was something wrong 5 years ago.. decided to check the outlets that I did not change or inspect today. The sunstorm stuff. I want to stay nice to the pc circuit.
sure enough, the one above had a crack in it. being illegally cheap skate I added some silicone and put it back together to verify something..

I put the tester in both sides.

    pow. popped a breaker.

I simply wired it up without the plug socket and covered back up at the wall. Being it is less than a foot from all conductive aluminum finned baseboard heater that seems to be out of control at all times..220F or nothing...I am not putting a wall socket back in.

the genius of the slobs that put this cheapass life and death stuff together.

I am glad to be partially nuclear.. I made a beeline to the error. it has been there all along...just was not quite sure.
