Average age of the cars you own?

=20.33 years

With my '98 Sebring (that I still have, but will be heading to the JY soon) in place of my Stratus it's 22.7

Wow, I thought my Stratus would affect my average more, but I guess it's still not that new.

When I joined this forum I was told there would be no maths. Now you want me to add up all these vehicles and average their age? Hell I cant even remember how many I have anymore.

Of the cars I can remember I own, the average is year is 1977 or 35 years old. I know I have more stuff, just cant remember all of them right now. Shouldn't move the average too much though.

So best guess is 35 years old.

Oops. Yeah, fat-fingered that one. I've been looking at some '69 GTO's, and the '96 Escort is on it's last legs, so I can see my average age moving up soon.

this morning the average age of the ones I own was pretty old.... 55 55 57 57 59 59 averages out to about 55 years old. But I got that crown vic back, so it bumps it up a few years.

Okay, most of you dudes have only a few cars so some of you have older averages than I do, but only a couple cars. I have an average age of 33.57 years old if I count all my cars including a "new" 2000 Suburban I just got. That is with 7 cars. If I add the Hack Job Corvette to the mix, which I own and is a 1985 model, the average goes down to 32.75.

If I hadn't just got the Suburban, then my average would be 35.57. Not too shabby although the '85 Vette and 2000 Suburban mess up my normal mix. Oh well. I pretty much guarantee that I have put more miles on my old cars in the last 5 years than anyone on the board. Without actually looking at odometers, I can conservatively say I have put 120k miles on them since June of 2005. Could be as high at 135k miles.
