are you sure you're leaving the fuel pump on or motor on long enough to allow the fuel pressure to build against the isolator and allowing the mineral oil to be pushed towards the gauge ?? . are you also leaving the line disconnected at the gauge so it can be bled ???

i never liked the new style fancy isolators they're just another item to fail and not allow it to work , i like the KISS system like what i'm running

this is my set up and works very well !!!!

#3AN fuel line from my holley press regulator right to a autometer sport comp fuel press regulator mounted outside the windshield in the cowl panel

I had one mounted in the dash for several years and never did get it bled correctly, i guess. After several tries i did get most all the air out by cracking the line with the motor runnin' and then trying to refill it with drops of oil.... the needle would pulsate really bad at low rpm (idle) but smooth out at higher rpm. got tired of it being innacurate and pulled it out. It was an autometer with the isolator mounted on the firewall.

ED - still got it if you want another one -
