  • A surprise find for me: IMSA GTO Cougar

I think you're a set of mufflers and a height adjustment away from street duty. Opinions?

I promise that would beat the shit out of bath towels...esp. some of the ones we already got.

Around Prescott there is a later '90s Cougar XR7 tooling around, it looks like it's been lifted an inch all the way around and and it's sporting a louder dual exhaust, black NASCAR-style rims and white letter tires. Actually looks alright...

Isn't it a rebodied Merkur? Roush was king back then. Had a bunch of the best drivers-Dorsey, Wally D, Robbie Gordon, Pete Halsmer, Scott Pruitt, Lyn St. James, Max Jones, Tommy Kendal- and on and on. Won a bunch of IMSA and Trans Am championships

It doesn't look it. Some might have been. The info I found were that they ran 2.3 turbo fours, supercharged V6's, and Roush V8's.
