    that sucks about the paint.

biphenyls kill me before paint drying won't.

if I had to stick to water based acrylic wet dreams, I would never take a car on again. there is some flat blacks that use purified carbon as the dye. I learned the attraction to that cheap black stuff a long time ago. Steel likes the pure carbon, sterile black, stays tougher. else, keep the epoxy, keep the dreams, there is nothing else but potent.

the urethanes are derived from nature, some found with prehistoric critters in a see through version, made by nature...millions of years old. some breweries even made it by accident..alcohol brewery that is. wooden barrels is part of it..
    anyway,

must be somethig chemists ae doing to keep it two part, a bit dangerous for some, as it is very powerful...can't stay mixed ,not even in a jug, dry right up.

The last few cars I've done, I did the bodywork, and sprayed the primer on them (the nasty two part urethane stuff), and had a friend with a booth put on the final paint.

Although it seems to me you don't do enough painting to get sensitized....the stories I've heard and guys I've seen who have had trouble, did a LOT of unprotected painting before it became an issue.

Either way, I hope you get better
