    Speakers-who knows about their magnets?

I put door speaks in the Vette and one's magnet's resting on the metal door hinge. Will that demagnatise the magnet? Will it take a very long time? Thx

It won't demagnatize it, but it won't sound as good as it could. The speaker has to have some "wiggle" room to give you the best possible sound.
It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

Cool, thanks a bunch. It sounds pretty damn good and can't tell any difference left from right, knowing one isn't hitting.

more than sound, that is a function that can attract unwanteds..the door drain holes are the entrance.

if you have a non shared ground radio, you may not notice..but it still chance.

you might want to try "clocking" the speaker and see if moves off the hinge
