In the Dec '13 issue of Car Craft the "This Guys Garage"
is from Steve and Rose Novasel. When I read that name
it triggered a memory from way back. The first issue of
Hot Rod I have in may archives had an article on a '69
Camaro with the name Steve Novasel on the door. From
June 1978 I must have read that mag a thousand times.

Funny how you remember names from when you first started reading car stuff. A couple years ago I came across the name Dave Benisek as a Buick Tuner...nobody mentioned he was the NHRA Stock champ in 1972 but I recalled that from my '73 Winternationals program.

Also, remember when Hot Rod had cars like that yellow Camaro in in? Everytime I go to the track I see at-least a couple cars there I'd love to see a little one- or two-page thing on, that kinda coverage would probably help keep the staging lanes filled.
