Very few of the "Barris" cars really were built by George Barris anyway.

the late Dick Dean built a bunch for him - - - some pretty cool and some not so cool - IMHO

I don't have photos, but I saw two things that made me laugh this past week.

First, a toyota tercel with one of those expensive polished stainless fart can mufflers... bolted to the tailpipe of the stock muffler.

Yesterday, I saw a nice looking red 73ish Olds Omega... then I saw the slapper bars installed backwards.

I dont think I have ever disliked a car more, the lines are aweful IMO....color was bland...and I never like Boyd....

and it has that low spot in the roof. If you're gonna make a car like this, the bodywork needs to be impeccable.

But in general, 90s roofs and 50s cars just don't mix.
