  • A horrible 1955 Pontiac Safari

I found this hulk sitting near railroad tracks in Malta, Il. At first I thought Nomad, but the small wheel openings are clearly not Nomad. Also, just behind the B pillar is a slight dip, thats on a Safari only. Someone did a very poor job tacking on some 55 Chevy rear quarters. There wasn't much left you could remove. It was 15 below zero when I took these pics, I didn't spend much time crawling under it.

Local junkyard has a real Nomad that looks about like that. Guy thinks it's gold.

I might as well buy that, since it has about the same chance as my other cars do of getting finished.

Oh, that things not that bad. A few years of your life and 50 or 60 grand. :D

                That hurts to look at
Rumors of my demise by rollover have been greatly exaggerated.
