I'll be the guy who says the ban's timing here was pretty questionable - he got aggressive when cornered and dog piled on. It doesn't do this site any credit to have a member banned in a thread that just happened to put a negative light on one of the site operators. John often brings up valid points that nobody else will say.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Pretty convenient that all that talent convened at the same spot as if on cue. I get it that they were all DW participants, but, to me it's one of those things that make you go Hmm.

The topic was just coincidental, it was his behavior, which he has shown in other threads, that was the reasoning.

As one guy put it, "very passive aggressive ,would throw out an opinion that he knew would cause a stink then get defensive if anyone disagreed ...".

Worse part was, several folks made it pretty clear his attitude/behavior was that of an ass, and probably should just drop it. But he simply couldn't. His own decisions and actions, plain and simple. It didn't really matter what the topic was because that became a moot point early on.
