    Re: Red Hot Racing's "FireCracker"

Here are a few pics of the new motor. It is a 6.0L LS. Heads are already in the capable hands of Bill (Min301) for porting.

    More to come soon.

That where all the girls look anyway. It's very difficult to have a decent conversation when they are staring there. I gotta keep saying "Eyes up here"

              They are LQ9/LQ4 castings, 210cc int./75cc int. w/ a 71cc chamber.

I'll make sure to keep a running tab on all I do,
              and post pics when possible.

I needed to get out of the house for a while today. Here's what I did. Seth said I could.

                    Re: Red Hot Racing's "FireCracker"

Everything looks real good, I didn't measure the bores yet. I'll try to do it before I leave tomorrow. Apparently the factory doesn't know how to deburr anything. I dripped all over.

Awesome, Dave. I simply cannot wait for this beast to get good stuff inside,
loads of boost outside and all the horsepower and torque we can handle!!!!

The engine has drawn first blood - I'm sure it won't be the last. I remember how easy it was to get cut on all the aluminum castings when I worked in the honda engine plant - deburring tools are our friends!

The insides look pretty good - I'll be interested to hear how the bores measure out - how many miles does this thing have on it?
There's always something new to learn.
