M90's are too small to make good power on a 302 anyways. they're usually used on small v6s and I4 engines.

junkyard turbo - NOW we are talking!! Holset super 40 anyone?

engine management would be cheap. find a 5.0 EFI setup (fuel tank, pump, rails, injectors, regulator, lines) and run it with a $180 megasquirt.

You know there is merit to that DW Car idea, if you want to be a bad boy, then do it, and take it to Drag Week, nothing sweeter than winning your class with a Car Junkie project in a Hot Rod Mag event.

I looked at it during the open house, 6pt bar and sub frame connectors in the house!

Did the rockers get boxed, and welded?

The factory spot welds are legendary for pulling apart, even with a bar, and subs.

Post a current picture so I can remember what it looks like! Check's in the mail, right? ;) Oh, and I need some of the parts stashed in there, so don't throw anything away.

The current plan for it is LSR. Remember I had a scheme to run one cylinder out of 8 in a small-displacement class? This will probably be the car to do it. Unlike most LSR racers, this one will need to be very light, and a notch Fox is halfway there. I'd like 2400 pounds with driver.

An alternate plan that's been discussed is to jerk the entire drivetrain out of the car and throw it into our Gremlin. But on other days we talk about a LS327 or a 401 for the Gremmie, so who knows.

You should de stroke the 302 and make a super small inch v-8 those afr heads should be good for that
but I like the 7 cylinder idea, has it been done before? I really like this car in car craft, it crued and I think it had mis matched tires at one point.

It's hard to destroke an 8-cylinder to 44ci, which is what we're looking for.
