65 screaming HP of Tractor engine!

    is it a 240 or a 300? 300? 80 HP of screaming tractor engine!!

I've been looking at them most of the weekend. I'm leaning towards a 1.6 or 1.9 TD VW engine...There are a couple of nice MB's around but I'm leaning towards the Vdub diesel because I can get adapters for a t5 or t56.
Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

you can swap a new into the old?
for 1974, they must have made them thump.. I'd stay old with it.
todays fuel is a good enough improvement, maybe a td04 and mix more with the mechanical simplicity.

I only hear of these diesel legends, hardly ever saw them.
reading that it came from prince edward island to somewhere in maine..lucky old car.
