    1992 Trans Am WS6 steering box new or remaned, rockauto is vague on the part info, the WS6 box goes lock to lock in 2.25-2.5 turns

    There is a early 90's Jeep Grand Cherokee box that is darn near identical ratio and a fraction of the price. Lots more availability too.

    I'm not sure on the details from memory but a search should turn it up.
    Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.

      X2, ZQ8 is 12:1 ratio, Grand Cherokee "Z" box is 12.7:1, no noticeable difference.

        I've got a used one, but it seaps out the output shaft. Had it on my G-body (with a G-body pitman arm) when running 275/40's up front.
        GM G-bodies, because I can't afford a 69 Camaro.
