Good info guys, i will be checking all those suggestions. Never thought about the cat, dont think its original but i'll take a look. thermostat is a new 185, radiator looks real clean inside but I'll replace it, new water pump will go on when i get back from sema.

has anyone put another fan in front of the condenser to bring in more air?

I have a pusher fan on Impala for when I get stuck in heavy, slow traffic. You don't want it running when your at speed as it will actually block air going into radiator. My car has a thermostat for the electric fan, but I also have a switch on the dash to turn it off for when speeds pick up.
