    99 Tahoe electrical gremlin...

OK, so my wife has a 99 Tahoe... After sitting for 1-2 days the battery is dead. Battery is fine, I've tried another one that is good with no issues. I've pulled every single fuse yet there is still a current draw... Any ideas?

Sorry, a quick clarification - if I pull the "batt" fuse the load dissapears... I have pulled the fuses from the previous owners aftermarket remote start as well (didn't help)

How much of a draw are we talking?

      Aftermarket Stereo Installed w/ Amp?

It could be something else with the aftermarket remote start, possibly a relay that was tied into the unit as a backup. I've seen some hackjobs with those remote starts.

Yeah, I'm thinking it is likely something to do with that old remote start unit..... The wiring on the Tahoe is pretty well hacked, just annoying that the last 1 1/2 years we have had ZERO issues with it and all of a sudden it is a problem....

There isn't any aftermarket stereo in it, but there are a couple of mystery switches that after 1 1/2 years, I STILL don't know what they do. Ugh...

You've probably got a weak short to ground.
