I've told you before, you're my hero, Jim. Watched you again this week and was pleased that it went so well for you again. That alone is a testament to your skills and abilities. Congrats on another job well done. Nice write-up too!Ed, Mary, & 'Earl'

I wonder Jim, with how well your cars travel and race do you ever wish for a little bit of drama with the week? Not something to take you out of the event but an unexpected hurdle to overcome maybe making the week a bit more of a triumph?
I guess your probably driving along looking at the others on the side of the road and thinking "glad that's not me".Tim

Bruab or Freiburger said something many years ago that stuck in my mind... "Biggest collection of cars that weren't running two weeks ago"
With 20k plus miles under it's belt before what had to have been the long haul of the event, I'd expect this one a little better sorted than most. It doesn't keep it from being impressive!
Another great story Jim, but I have to ask - what the hell is EFI doing in A/Gas ???Flying south, with a flock of bird dogs.

It's allowed by the rules, as long as it uses an injection housing type that is used with mechanical injection.
There's a problem with having "retro" classes..which is that if you have strict rules about what you can use, there's only one car in the class. So they have to open it up to big inch motors and efi and modern transmissions etc. I totally understand that it's necessary
