I think I've read the main HRPT page on hotrod.com a 100 times and tonight I noticed

Get all the Power Tour updates by texting "HRPT" to "59925."

I'm thinking Hot Rod will be texting out real time updates, directions, discounts, etc. during The Tour.

What do you think?

They did this in '09 and '10. Some messages about what was on stage, some about driving direction or traffic alerts. I wonder if this is a new number or not. As far as I know I still recive updates via text from family events.

I'm signed up as well as mom and dad. Mom did it last year and she said they got the mass text message that steered them around the accident scene. Helps everyone, wish they woulda had it in 08!!

I used this in PT '09 & '10.... they let you know about all the give-a-ways and events going on during the day.... Nice to have....
