My paint supply guy told me how to get the rust off the top of the car left from the halo roof and forty years. He said use Lime-a-way and a Brillo pad. So I tried it tonight and it works I will have to get and earlier start tomorrow to get it done. I would have never thunk it would have worked, but it did.

One thing suggested to me was lime sulfate {Stuff can be found at Earl May's} and follow it with I want to say baking soda to neutralize.
Coverts rust to iron will blacken everything.
Car Craft and popular hot rodding had a couple articles a while back on rust treaters as well with different results.Andrew

304 - I'm a robot at work, except for the fact that I dress myself differtently each day and feel pain. Thinking I've got bruised ribs, hurts way worse than the nail in the thumb."Somewhere the zebra is dancing". Garth Stein's The art of racing in the rain.

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for much.
But they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
