News in LA yesterday showed some gas stations with regular being at $4.95/gallon and premium at $5.50 a gallon but thats downtown. I'm in So. Cal but in a mountain resort town and regular was at $4.39 recently. I have not checked after the price increases but I will check today. Sticker shock at the pump is pretty much the norm up here all year long.
