New wheels for the Impala. Any ideas?

This is how nice they can look when they're cleaned up a bit. What diameter center cap do you need? I've got a whole collection of them.

How about something from the OEMs? I say this because the quality of the rim will be very hard to beat and you could probably pick some lightly used ones relatively cheap.

The problem with this good idea, is that the tire sizes he wants wheels for are only found on newer cars, which have way different offset than early cars like his.

Yeah, that was on the back of my mind as well. I'm facing that with getting my wife's 69 Mustang back on the road. I DO NOT want to buy 14" tires to replace the 28+ year old tires. I'm thinking of a set of 17" SN95 wheels with spacers. I don't know how keen Scott would be with spacers and they probably wouldn't fly with road racing sanctions.

I can get a set of 17x9.5 Camaro SS wheels for dirt. But, they had 2 1/2 in. spacers to be used on the Jag XJS they were on. They have like 7 inches of offset. I need five inches on the rear. But flat faced wheels don't look right on old cars. I will probably toss them on one side to see what they look like.

Scott I talked to a guy with a 68 camaro at the power tour Muskegon stop that had these wheels on his car.
I'd never seen a set before - and never heard of the company. I have a feeling they are pretty pricey, they looked incredibly well made.

I'm not a fan of the big wheel thing. But, some of those in that link are pretty tasteful. "IF" I were to ever run a big wheel....it'd HAVE to be some sort of brushed or metallic (Pewter?) center with polished lips as shown on a few on that link. Anything fully chromed in a bigger wheel looks like ASS. I thought, maybe one day, I'd bring a bottle of Jack Daniels and a can of cast iron grey spray paint to a car show and "fix" those wheels. LMAO
